This handsome Williamson Kinematograph was made during the “genesis” period of the silent film era. It comes with its rare and original Williamson lens. James Williamson is credited with Making 222 movies in 13 years , starting in 1897 and ending in 1910. His movies were so well done that early filmmakers asked Williamson to make cameras for them too. He had one of the first glass movie studios constructed on his property in 1902.
