1905 - 1910 35mm Skeletal Movie Projector
Nicholas Power Lens
New York

At the intersection of art and industry lies this breathtaking piece of antique machinery -- an early, working, hand crank 35MM silent movie projector made almost entirely of billet brass.
Weighing 24 pounds and standing just 14" high, it's compact, and it's robust.
The projector's skeletal design, oxide finish and early Nicholas Power lens would seem to place it squarely in the first decade of the last century, when motion pictures were still in their infancy.
the projector is unsigned. I just know that it's beautiful
