The Pocket Kozy Camera, Improved (Third Model) was manufactured by the Kozy Camera Company in Boston, Mass circa 1899. A unique detective camera styled to represent a book. Small enough to fit in a pocket or carry on a bicycle. The camera looks like a book when closed, and when opened the bellows resemble pages. The camera measured 1 5/8 inches thick when closed and weighed 16 ounces. This mint condition example of the Pocket Kozy Camera captured six or twelve 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch sized exposures on daylight loading cartridge film. originally priced at $10.00.
