The Faller Ferrotype Camera is an automatic chamber, producing tests in “Victoria” format. It was presented in specialized journals in 1905 as follows: “This device is specially built to make small direct positive portraits in broad daylight, in the middle of a public square, in the street, in a workshop courtyard, as well as in artificial light, in an apartment or any other place, without a laboratory or shelter. The device is only 21 cm. high and 4 cm. thickness. The store can be loaded with 30 plates in broad daylight. Development and washing are done in less than a minute.” The camera is made of mahogany wood with all metal parts in nickel-plated brass. Beautiful general condition and here with its rare original tank.
