Ephemera

We collectors usually have an array of assorted antique photographic items oftentimes referred to as ephemera. Without going overboard, I’ve chosen to show just a few items: A Daguerreotype of a gentleman, an Ambrotype of a bearded man, a 4” x 5” glass negative of a horse and sleigh, an early stereo card of Fountain Square in my hometown, Cincinnati, Ohio, a full-plate tintype of a group of men, and a brass bird of “watch the birdy” fame which was used by photographers to hold a child’s attention during long exposures.
